ProperMAP is being used in four ways:

Property Listing
Property owners/sellers can list their property in the map with link to more details and contact information. This is a FREE service.
Property Search
Users who search for property for sale/service/rent can see the listings given by property owners.
Property Alerts
Users can subscribe for notifications regarding the property listing's additions/updates, for a concerned area and category.
Property Link
Property owners can get a link to the locations added only by them and can give this link to customers through email or in their website. For details see services.

To list your property, you have to create a free ProperMAP Customer Account. For that, select 'Register' here. To subscribe for alerts regarding property additions/updates you have to create a ProperMAP Subscriber Account.

First of all you have to create a free ProperMAP customer account. After activating the account from your e-mail and signed in, you can right click on the map to add the property to the map. Once added, you can later edit the property details after login to ProperMAP. For more details and step-by-step instructions, please see Real Estate Listing Service in ProperMAP blog.

Once added, you can later edit the location details and fine-tune the location in map after login to ProperMAP. Once added, you can later edit the property details after login to ProperMAP. Then right-click on the property marker in the map and select 'Edit' to change the details of previously added property. You can change the details of ONLY the property items added by you. You can drag the items to correct its location in map.

You should provide a valid E-Mail ID while creating the account, because:

Account Activation
You have to activate your account by simply clicking a link sent to your given E-Mail ID. We have to avoid spammers, and we take your privacy very seriously.
Contact Point
When someone searches to and interested in the property added by you, then they may sent a message to you through this address. Anyway your EMail-ID is not revealed to them, and that will be only when you reply to them (if you reply from the same email address).
Password Recovery
If you forgot your account password, then we will sent a password change link to this E-Mail for verification. That is, users can reset their password through this E-Mail ID.

If your account is not yet activated, you can change your E-Mail address and get a new activation link in that mailbox from your profile settings.

If your account is not yet activated, you can request a resend of the activation email from your profile settings.

You can change your account profile settings here.

You can change your account password in profile settings or through the "Forgot Password" link on the login page.

You can permanently delete your account and property/business listings after signing in to your Account Settings.

You can add property items that belongs to categories (termed as type) and sub categories (termed as subtype) specified in search page, that are for sales, service or rent. But, you are not allowed to add listings that are not location-specific, not authorized or not useful for people who search this site or that are spam in nature.

It is assumed that you are the owner or the authority of the property for the purpose of listing. People who visit/search this site has the facility to report abuse usage. ProperMAP will analyze the spam reporting based on the IP address and total votes. If ProperMAP has reasonable grounds to suspect that your listing is not location-specific, not authorized, not useful or spam in nature, ProperMAP has the right to indefinitely suspend or terminate your account and to remove your property listings.

Corresponding to each property you add, you can upload multiple images directly, or set a hyperlink to the URL (web address) of an image or a video from your website or from a FREE blogsite (Blogger, Flickr or Youtube, for example).

You can add the details and photos in your website or in a FREE blogsite (Blogger, Flickr or Youtube, for example). Then you can set a hyperlink to that URL (web address), corresponding to each property you add.

If you do not login to your account once in a period of 6 months, then we send an E-Mail to you. If you still not to login in a month, your account and the property listings by you will be permanently removed. This is to keep our services up-to-date and to ensure the quality of our service.

If you are signed out, again login to ProperMAP with your loginname and password. Now you can drag the property marker added by you to reposition it. Also you can right-click on the property marker and select 'Edit' to update its details or select 'Delete' to remove it entirely. Or, simply manage your listings directly from your dashboard.

When there is a lot of search results to display that is too much to display in the map and difficult to analyze, ProperMAP will show such a message. What you can do is to limit your search criteria like sub-category, search radius etc.

Currently the limit is 20 items for a single login, to maintain the quality of our service. If you have already reached this limit and want to add more, please contact us at the contact page.

We believe that for such a service to be widely usable, it should have free access. To offset the cost of providing the service, we use information gathered by your search to display online ads that are contextually relevant to your preferences. Note 1: We take your privacy very seriously. So we treat all users' personal information with tremendous discretion, in accordance with our privacy policy and only to improve the quality of our service.

Note 2: ProperMAP does not charge any fee for browsing, posting or replying and offers BASIC property listing and searching services for FREE. But we reserve the right to charge a fee (especially for PREMIUM use, for featured listing etc.) in the future if we wish to do with or without the explicit consent or approval of any user. ProperMAP reserves the right to change the fees and services at any point in the future.
